What is Galaw?

Hi, I’m Angela - the founder of Galaw Studio!

Galaw was created from a deep love for movement, connection, and personal growth. I wanted to build a space where people could feel free to explore what their bodies can do - not just physically, but emotionally, too. Whether it’s through the rhythm and expression of ballroom dance or the strength and awareness that comes from Pilates, my goal is to help others feel good in their bodies and connected to themselves.

About Galaw Studio

Galaw means “movement,” and that’s truly at the heart of everything we do.

Our studio was built around the idea of "Grow Authentically, Live and Wonder." We believe movement is more than just exercise - it’s a way to discover who you are, to feel more confident, and to enjoy the journey of becoming stronger and more connected with yourself.

By blending the elegance of ballroom dance with the core-strengthening, body-awareness benefits of Pilates, we offer something really special for all ages and all levels.

Our Philosophy

At Galaw, we’re all about real, personal growth. There’s no pressure to perform or compete - just space to explore, learn, and enjoy moving your body.

Here’s what we’re about:

🌱 Authentic Growth
Everyone’s journey is different, and that’s the beauty of it. We support you exactly where you are, and help you grow at your own pace.

πŸ’ƒ Movement Exploration
We combine the grace of ballroom with the grounding of Pilates to create a movement experience that’s both expressive and empowering.

🫢🏼 Community & Connection
We’re not just a studio - we’re a community. A place to meet people, share laughs, and support each other through the ups, the downs, and all the "aha!" moments.

If you're curious, excited, or even a little nervous to try something new - Galaw is here to welcome you.

Let’s move, grow, and wonder - together. πŸ’œ
